Insulin is required to transfer sugar out of the blood stream into cells where it is needed if left neglected, critically high amounts of accumulated blood sugar can lead to various health problems. ChromAlly is formulated to provide nutrients, such as Zychrome, a unique form of chromium, to help maintain normal blood sugar and insulin levels. Scientific studies suggest that Zychrome has more potential and an advantage over other forms of chromium in maintaining healthy blood sugar levels.
What is Zychrome
Zychrome® is a unique, patent-pending chromium complex consisting of chromium, niacin, and L-cysteine (chromium dinicocysteinate). Clinical research has shown Zychrome to be effective in regulating blood sugar levels.
Clinical Data
Preclinical studies screened more than 12 different chromium complexes and demonstrated that Zychrome is more efficient than other forms of chromium in regulating fasting glucose levels and insulin levels.
An 83 subject study1 conducted at the Health Sciences Center at Louisiana State University evaluated the different effects of Zychrome, chromium picolinate, and a placebo over three months. Results indicated that Zychrome significantly reduced fasting insulin levels after three months, as well as, reduced insulin resistance compared to initial baseline levels. Subjects who were given Chromium picolinate or the placebo showed no significant changes in these levels.
In vitro and in vivo studies2 demonstrate that Zychrome may significantly decrease levels of blood glucose as well as lower vascular markers associated with insulin resistance. In addition, Zychrome significantly increased vitamin C levels, which lowers oxidative stress and thus helps decrease insulin resistance, and increased insulin sensitivity. These studies suggest that Zychrome controls the cell signal pathways associated with blood sugar regulation.
Safety
An array of toxicological studies on Zychrome demonstrates a wide margin of safety for human consumption. It is well tolerated by humans with no reported adverse effects, causes no allergic reactions, and does not affect liver, kidney, or heart function.
The recommended dosage is one capsule taken twice daily. One in the morning, and one in the evening must be taken with a meal to prevent stomach irritation.
*As with any dietary supplement, consult your health care practitioner before using this product, especially if you experience any allergic reactions, or have an existing condition.
For better results, serve Tart Cherry in conjunction with ChromAlly.
Tart Cherries have at least 17 natural ingredients, including: Anthocyanins, which have antioxidant properties that boost immune health,
may also regulate insulin production; Perillyl alcohol (POH), a naturally occurring monoterpene, may regulate cell growth; and Melatonin (from the Montmorency variety), which may promote healthy sleep patterns.
Q:Can I take a variety of dietary supplements at the same time?
A: Yes, this range of products is a source of dietary nutritional supplements; they are similar to food. Two to three kinds can be taken together, only after meals. For more than three kinds, the fourth and/or fifth kind can be separated by two hours for easy absorption.
An essential B-vitamin, Biotin is essential for the body’s metabolic processes, and plays a major role in the production and regulation of blood sugar levels.
Chromium is a natural mineral found in many foods that has been shown to aid healthy insulin functions and the proper metabolism of fat and glucose. It is paired together with Picolinate in pill form to help the body absorb the mineral more efficiently.
An excellent source of Vitamin A, C, and K, Bitter Melon also contains compounds that may help improve the body’s ability to process blood sugar and glucose.
Alpha-lipoic acid (or ALA) is a naturally occurring compound that serves several vital functions at the cellular level in the body. ALA helps protect the body's cells from damage, and ALA may also aid in the body’s ability to use its own insulin more efficiently.
Cinnamon has a long history of use as both a spice and therapeutic remedy. The essential oil found in Cinnamon bark contains active components that act as antioxidants.
